I gained my first Triathlon coaching qualification in 2011. After having completed my undergraduate in Sport Studies BA (Hons) Sports and Exercise, and my Professional Master of Education in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching. I now work full time as a Physical Education Teacher and Coach in Qatar.
I have gained a valuable perspective from being an athlete and now a coach, I've realised that coaching is fundamentally a two-way relationship, it’s about building trust, identifying and working towards a chosen goal. I work with individuals to create a personalised training plan which identifies weaknesses, maintains and enhances strengths while taking into account the demands of everyday life. Since moving to Qatar in 2017, I have been at the forefront of triathlon coaching both at a national level and on the domestic racing scene. Internationally I have assisted Qatari Age group athletes at the 2018 World Championships in Australia, both in preparation for the race and execution on race day. Domestically I have achieved the following accolades.
